The Union County affiliate of
NAMI/National Alliance on Mental Illness will present a seminar discussing the
changes in NJ’s public policy for those affected with mental illness. The
speaker, Philip Lubitz, Associate Director of the NJ/NAMI state organization
will discuss changes and advocacy efforts to help educate and prepare
Mr. Lubitz is responsible for advocacy and law enforcement
education and currently chairs the New Jersey Mental Health Planning Council.
There are significant changes occurring in our mental health
system. This presentation will offer some insights on the system’s future
direction and what advocates can do about it. Please join us as we learn and prepare to advocate for our
loved one’s needs.
