Marlene H. Lubinger
President, RWJ Rahway Foundation
As President of the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway Foundation, Ms. Lubinger is responsible for the leadership, management and implementation of the Foundation’s short- and long-term fund development strategies through a multi-channel program to meet the philanthropic needs of the Hospital.
She joined RWJ Rahway in 2004 after serving as Executive Director and Chief Development Officer at Atlantic Health System’s The General Hospital Center at Passaic; Vice President for Development at the Metro YMCA of the Oranges; Foundation President and Vice President of Community Relations at Wayne General Hospital; Director of Development at The General Hospital Center at Passaic and re-recruited in 1999 to head the Foundation; and Director of Public Relations and Corporate Development at The Ridgewood YWCA.
Ms. Lubinger holds an MS in Education from St. John’s University, a bachelor's in Education from the University of Arizona and an AA in Psychology from The Packer Collegiate Institute.
She is a member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy and Association of Fundraising Professionals. Throughout her career Ms. Lubinger served on several community boards, including Clifton Rotary, Tri-County Chamber of Commerce, North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce, YWCA of Bergen County, Junior Women’s Club of Ridgewood, and the United Way of Passaic Valley. At the United Way, Ms. Lubinger received recognition for “Best Campaign Manager” and “Best Overall Campaign”. She served as President of the Clifton Rotary, and currently serves on the Citizen’s Safety Advisory Council in Ridgewood, NJ.
